Responsive: Design Process 2 - Uk Greetings Store Research





I went into a card shop to see about shelf apperance. There were sections depending the cards for example a wall of aged cards and then categorised in order of age. There was also names as well as numbers categorised for example mum, daughter, wife, sister in the female section and then the male equivalent. There was a mass of cards in which they were all lost amongst each other unless it was particularly dark or had a large number. The only thing that was brought to your attention was the price. I also looked at how it was extended from cards to other gift items such as wrapping paper, gift tags, ribbon, gift bags, bows, gift cards etc.
