I wanted a bold thick sans serif type for my title so I trialled out a few different ones and settled for Helvetica Neue Condensed Black.
I decided to keep the registration mark separate from the text because it visually fits better and keeps with its function.
I lay out the front cover and chapter pages with the categorising of the colour bar. These will be printed on tracing paper with the rest of the page layouts being inside the bleed so when layered over it appears as as the full printed version with print marks.
I set up my document in indesign and created a grid to work from to keep a consistent layout.
