Hotdog booklet: Development

I made numerous prototypes of my hotdog booklet trying to align the circles up together, editing the sizes and position within the booklet exploring what worked and what worked better.

perfect alignment!

realising needed to swap the placement of the small and big circles to get the right order and changing the first page to a circle so its easier to align

one of my prototypes i put lines on to see what the stitching would similarly look like

this would obviously have all the patterns layered on top of one another

proto type with the original poster pattern

labeling and sizing for indesign grid

swapping sizes round to avoid seeing the pattern through the pages

new poster pattern test

wrong way due to poster print being on the inside

circles were backwards

test of opacity from 100 down in 10's
I like between 60-70 on this stock, its more delicate than the 100 as its quite harsh

print test - different colour adjustment due to different printer
i decided to stick with the original colours i'd drawn out rather than the light versions but edit the opacity more due to this printer creating a different effect of less opacity

ready to be cut on the laser
